Hello My Lavender Loving Friends, Would you look at all these leaves!! I definitely looks like Fall this morning but it's 75 degrees and super humid so not very Fall-Like. Mother Nature decided to give us a short lavender season this year. However, it sure was beautiful while it lasted. We feel blessed to have been able to share it with you and feel incredibly grateful for all your support.
I'm happy to report that the City Girl Flock is doing quite well. The Littles are growing very quickly and I'm really pleased with the integration so far. There's the normal squabbling going on but for the most part everyone is adjusting. Poor Phyllis suffered a minor injury but after a couple of days being pampered in the house she's back with the rest of the girls. I'll have to monitor everyone very closely the next few weeks as they continue to establish their place in the pecking order. Hopefully there won't be any more blood shed (she said nervously).
Even though the lavender is done for the season the farm is still a beautiful place to escape to when you need a chance to just breathe and recharge. Our gift shop is loaded with wonderful handmade artisan lavender bath & body, culinary and household products, teas and tea accessories, our award winning honey, aromatherapy jewelry, essential oils, home decor and accessories and so much more. And, this time of year I turn into a Gift Set Making Fool. So, please think of us as you start your holiday shopping.
As a reminder, we have a few wonderful Events coming up including our much anticipated An Enchanting Evening Under The Stars - A Lavender Inspired Dinner which is taking place on September 22. There's only a few tickets left so if you're interested in attending please don't wait to register. Have you liked us on Facebook? Are you following us on Instagram? This is the best way to ensure you don’t miss any news. As always thank you for your continued support. We hope you have a wonderful Labor Day. Jim & Monica
