The End of an Era – The Start of a New Chapter

Hello Friends,

With a full heart and so much gratitude, we are writing to share that we have made the decision to close Orchard View Lavender Farm as it currently exists.  It’s hard to put into words what it means to bring this chapter to a close. This Dream Come True has been such an important part of our lives, and having you along for the journey has made it all the more meaningful.

Thank you for being part of the last 11 years!! Who knew that what started as a desire to grow lavender and share this sacred space with others would turn into this amazing endeavor that took on a life of its own?  Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and for giving us the opportunity to share a part of our lives with you.  It’s truly been an honor to welcome you here, whether you visited our gift shop, attended one of the many events we’ve offered over the years, or hosted a private celebration on our property.  We feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of all of it!!

To the fellow small businesses we’ve partnered and collaborated with over the years, a huge Thank You for being part of our journey.  It’s truly been an honor to share ideas, create together, and support one another along the way. We’re so grateful for the connections and, more importantly, the friendships we’ve built.  You will always be a treasured part of this chapter.

A special Thank You to Mom & Dad, my dear sister Doreen, and my amazing daughter Raquel, who have all been a huge part of OVLF and have been incredibly supportive.  And, another special Thank You to our dear friend Wendy, who has played an integral role in the success of OVLF.  Words cannot express how incredibly grateful we are to have had her on this crazy ride with us. 

This truly is the end of an era. There is sadness in letting go of something that has meant so much for so long, but there is also gratitude for everything this chapter has given us. We’re especially grateful for the incredible relationships we’ve built along the way and the everlasting friendships we’ll always cherish. We’ll carry so many beautiful memories with us as we look forward to the next chapter and what lies ahead for our little lavender farm.

While we will no longer be open to the public, we will focus on that which nourishes my soul: growing lavender, creating a sanctuary for pollinators and birds, and hosting carefully curated, meaningful gatherings intended to bring peace and healing to those who attend.

As this chapter closes and we prioritize our quality of life, we don’t want to leave you with a Goodbye. Instead, we leave you with a heartfelt THANK YOU and a “See You Later.”
