Hello Lavender Loving Friends,
How is it September already?!?! I must confess, I'm ready to say good-bye to Summer and welcome Fall. I'm looking forward to crisp Fall mornings, and cooler nights and of course, pumpkin everything - or should I say Lavender Pumpkin everything!!
Did you know you can turn your favorite pumpkin recipes into something truly special by adding a little Lavender Extract?? If your recipe calls for 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, instead, add half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and half a teaspoon of lavender extract. You're Welcome :)

September 10 - Please note we will be CLOSED on Saturday 9/10 so that we may participate in Belvidere Heritage Days in Belvidere from 9 am - 6 pm. This is such a fun event with lots to see and do. There's an Antique Car Show, lots of vendors including yours truly, a Tea Garden, Carriage Rides, Historic Demonstrations, Plein Art Contest, Author's Grove, Kid Zone, Belvidere Historical Display, Community Exhibitors, Historic Walking Tours, Food, with our good friend Chef Ed of The Angry Chourico BBQ and Live Music. Hope to see you there!!
September 17 - We will be closing at 3 pm on Saturday 9/17 so that we may prepare for our last Sunset At The Lavender Farm Event of the 2022 Season. Chef Ed of The Angry Chourico BBQ has once again created a fabulous menu. For your listening pleasure, we are thrilled to have local musicians Jeff Bellfly and Kjell Benner of Jeff Bellfly & Co. There's only a few tickets left!!
