Hello Dear Lavender Loving Friends,
Well, the end of July is fast approaching which means Lavender Bloom Time is coming to an end. Our English Lavenders are done. Our French Lavenders still have some blooms and the bees are loving them. Unfortunately, the heat and humidity are taking a toll so this may be the last weekend to enjoy the blooms. However, don’t let that discourage you from visiting. We still have plenty to offer, assuming you’re looking to escape to a peaceful oasis and enjoy some lavender goodies.
I’m happy to announce that our honey is bottled and ready to be enjoyed. Thank you to our amazing beekeepers, Mim and Tim of Woodsedge Tree Farm for taking such good care of the bees, their hives and of course for extracting the liquid gold we look forward to every season. And, if you've been in the shop lately, you'll notice I'm a little obsessed with all the honeybee themed decor and accessories we have in the shop. So Cute!!
If you haven't already, you must come try our deeelicious Lavender Lemon Shortbread Cookies baked by our friend Ally of Baked By Ally using our Lavender Extract and Lavender Sugar. Try to get here on Friday or Saturday cause if you wait till Sunday afternoon you may not find any left!!
By now you know we have the best lavender ice cream around, made exclusively for us by our friends at Bank Street Creamery. This weekend we're introducing our newest flavor (drum roll please) Lavender Forest Berry, a delicious blend of Lavender, Raspberry, Bilberry and Black Currant. The case will be stocked with both Lavender Forest Berry and Lavender Chocolate Chip. Bring your cooler and take some home!!
And let's not forget the decadent chocolates made by our beautiful friends at The Chocolate Shoppe. They've masterfully married their chocolate with our lavender extract and lavender sugar to create the most amazing Lavender Dark Chocolate Bars, Lavender White Chocolate Bars and Lavender Chocolate Mousse... Let me say that again... Lavender Chocolate Mousse. You're Welcome. These specialty chocolates can only be found in our Shop.
We have a very special event coming up on August 1 - "A Fearless Grieving Retreat - A Day of Holistic Recovery". This full day of healing, solace and support will be lead by renowned Grief Coach & Counselor, Claire Schwartz, founder of Miriam's Well Healing, LLC. Seating is very limited. For those of you who have been following along... The pavilion project is just about complete!! Here it is all dressed up for a gorgeous wedding we recently hosted. We are now booking weddings for 2023 and 2024. For additional information, please visit the Wedding Page of our website.
As a reminder, our hours are Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 10 am – 5 pm – except when closed for private events. Special hours are always posted on our website, social media and voice mail greeting. We ask that you PLEASE respect these hours.
